Patient portal with online booking and e-consult
−38% phone calls at the front desk
Industry: healthcare & wellbeing
Every assistant who is not on the phone is standing next to a patient. We build accessible practice websites, patient portals, care apps and AI assistants that handle routine questions, integrated with practice systems, care records and Vecozo. NEN 7510, GDPR and MedMij are the design starting point, not an obstacle afterwards.
— Healthcare & wellbeing
A general practice handles dozens of calls a day about appointments, repeat prescriptions and results that could just as well happen online. Physiotherapists and dentists lose revenue to no-shows without an automatic reminder. And every new tool raises the same question: is this NEN 7510-ready, GDPR-ready, MedMij-ready? So innovation stalls, while staff shortage is the sector’s biggest threat.
RABZI builds digital care that relieves practices and institutions of routine work. A WCAG 2.2 AA accessible practice website with online registration and a Zorgkaart integration. A patient portal or app with appointments, e-consult, questionnaires and DigiD or MedMij login. An AI assistant for phone and chat that handles repeat prescriptions and appointment changes. Connected to Medicom, Promedico, Intramed or Nedap ONS, ZorgDomein and Vecozo, so nothing is entered twice.
Security by design means, for us: data minimization, EU hosting, audit logging, DPIA documentation and a data processing agreement without debate. Fixed price, fixed date, and honest advice on which subsidy, IZA or SET, can carry the project.
— Sound familiar?
We build online registration, appointments and repeat prescriptions into a portal or app, plus an AI assistant for the phone, so the front desk keeps time for the patient who is actually standing there.
We build digital triage, waiting list management and automatic reminders by text, email or app, so open slots get filled and the waiting list becomes a schedule instead of a pile.
We build a WCAG 2.2 AA accessible site with care SEO, Zorgkaart integration and online registration, so “physiotherapist + city” lands on you and everyone, including screen reader users, can book an appointment.
We build integrations with Medicom, Promedico, Intramed or Nedap ONS, ZorgDomein, Zorgmail and Vecozo claims, so data is entered once and production and care pathway costs become visible.
We build with security by design: data minimization, EU hosting, audit logging, DPIA and a data processing agreement at delivery, so the data protection officer signs off instead of slowing down.

— Our approach
We start with 20 minutes at the front desk: which questions come in, how many per day, which could be online. That decides what we build and what you leave as it is.
NEN 7510, GDPR and MedMij requirements are in the first sketch: which data, stored where, who has access. We write the DPIA alongside the build.
Everything we build connects to Medicom, Promedico, Intramed or Nedap ONS and to Vecozo. No extra screen for the assistant, no double entry.
WCAG 2.2 AA is the standard, tested with screen reader and keyboard. Someone who is 80 or visually impaired has to book an appointment as easily as someone who is 30.
A practice website goes live in 3 to 6 weeks, a portal or app in 8 to 16. We help you think through IZA transformation funds and SET to make the budget work.

— Frequently asked questions
An accessible practice website with online registration, care pages and a Zorgkaart integration starts from €4,950 excl. VAT and goes live in 3 to 6 weeks. A patient portal starts from €12,500, a care app from €15,000, an AI assistant for phone or chat from €2,950. A WCAG audit of an existing site starts from €950. Fixed price and fixed date up front; we help you with IZA and SET subsidy applications.
A patient portal with appointments, e-consult and questionnaires, connected to the practice or care record system, is ready in 8 to 12 weeks. A care app with DigiD or MedMij login, monitoring and messaging takes 12 to 16 weeks, including the DPIA and security test. We start with a pilot group of patients and staff, process their feedback and then roll out widely.
Yes. We connect to the APIs and messaging standards of Medicom, Promedico, Intramed, Nedap ONS, ZorgDomein and Zorgmail, and to Vecozo for claims and insurance checks. For patient access we use DigiD and MedMij; for secure email, Zivver. Every integration runs under a data processing agreement and is logged. If you use a system not on this list, we check up front what the vendor allows.
By putting compliance into the design instead of after it. Data minimization per screen, encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access, audit logging of every record view and hosting in the EU. We deliver the DPIA and the data processing agreement, along with the documentation your data protection officer and a NEN 7510 auditor need. A penetration test through a certified partner is optional.
For care providers with a public task or public funding, WCAG 2.1 AA is mandatory in the Netherlands; for most practices it is not yet a legal duty, but it is the norm that insurers, patient associations and Zorgkaart expect. Practically: part of your patients are older, visually impaired or use a screen reader. We build every healthcare website and portal to WCAG 2.2 AA and deliver the accessibility statement with it.
